Ukulele Blues Mastery Course

Let me tell you a quick story.

As a teenager I was hooked on classic rock music by bands such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Eric Clapton, and Pink Floyd. As I would try to learn songs from these bands little I did know that they had an influence of Blues in their songs. So.. by learning songs like “I Can’t Quit You Baby” by Led Zeppelin I was actually learning the Blues.

Fast forward about 7 years I was playing with my college Jazz Big Band. I’m talking saxophones, trumpets, trombones, rhythm section, the whole nine yards. There were two guitar players in the band, Jeff, a seasoned Blues player and myself. Although I had been a great guitar player I was into a heavy jazz stage at the time. We were playing a song called St. Louis Blues and it was my turn to take a solo. Needless to say I sucked. After the song Jeff said hey Terry check this out. If you play this Minor Pentatonic scale over this song you will sound great. WOW, this one event changed my path forever. By learning this one scale I went from sounding like a amateur to a pro. The next time my solo came up, the band leader had to literally cut me off as I never wanted to stop playing.

This one event set me on a path to learning the Blues. I studied every Blues artist I could get a hold of from Robert Johnson, the 3 Kings (B.B. King, Freddie King, Albert King), Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

I also bought and devoured every Blues instructional book I could find (this was pre-internet 🤣) learning as many different styles of Blues that I could.

And now, 20 years later after continuing my love and path of the Blues, I have decide to share my knowledge with you.

I’m going to show you the tips and secrets that I have learned from doing hundreds to Blues gigs, recordings, and teaching sessions.

VIDEO TESTIMONIAL

What People Are Saying:

Terry you are a supercharged music entity..Holy cow .. I'll be getting in on that course for sure..I have 3 great Ponos now ...they all sound different ..Just want to thank you was fortunate tonight to get some strumming practise in and I have to say I was a counter before but your approach has really improved my ability to maintain tempo which previously I would get lost in.I like the challenge of finger style but in order to not drive my wife crazy looks like your strumming help may prevent a divorce..lol

I am so glad I found your site! I probably spend at least 4 hours a day watching your lessons and practicing. I'm still at the beginning stage but it gives me a lot to look forward too and I have spent a year jumping around on YouTube trying to find someone who could teach me how to play in a way that I could follow. (I don't know how to read music but now I am learning )You really are an amazing teacher and I truly appreciate your willingness to share your talents!!

Being the person you are,  you are able to inspire us all in your teachings just by being you. I feel very fortunate to have become one of your students, you are helping me to become a musician, maybe not the best but the best I can become. I, like other members of ULTP I’m sure,  look forward to what you have in store for us this year, hopefully we will inspire others to join us and realise their dreams to become musicians.
