In this tutorial, you can learn how to play an Easy Blues Turnaround in A.

The turnaround is typically the last 2 bars of a 12 bar blues. I’m using the key A which means the chords used are: A chord (I), the D7 chord (IV) and the E7 chord (V).

In the turnaround i.e. bars 11 and 12, the chords used are the A and the E7 chords.

I will teach you how to play the turnaround and then I will be playing a 12 bar blues so that you can have a clear idea how the turnaround will fit in the complete Blues structure.

Hi! Welcome Back to 4k Chord Mania! In this tutorial, I will explain how to play the Intro to Day Tripper by The Beatles. https://www.ukelikethepros.com/p/courses. This tutorial is a from the “10 Classic Rock Licks For Ukulele.” Although this is a special course for Ukelikethepros members, I wanted to share it with you. The Beatles played the Day Tripper in key E. This is great on the guitar but not the ukulele. For your making it easy to play on the ukulele, I have transposed it on Key C of the ukulele. This lick has all single notes and playing it could be challenging on the original tempo. The intro is based around two chords of Key C (the C7 chord and F7 chord). The best way to increase your speed and accuracy is by practicing each lick slowly and memorizing it.

This tutorial focuses on the main riff that can be heard on many Chuck Berry songs, including Johnny B. Goode, Roll Over Beethoven, and Carol. This lick is an essential component of every great blues ukulele and guitar players from Jimmy Page to Jake Shimabukuro.

For this ukulele lesson, I have transposed the song from Chuck’s original key of Bb to D. The key of D sits better on the ukulele than the key Bb. The techniques you will learn are double stops, slides, and hammer-ons.

The cool thing about the ukulele is that once you have this lick memorized in the key of D, all you have to do must do is move it up and down the neck to transpose it to different keys.

In this Chord Mania!!! Video we will learn an easy ukulele chord. Matter of fact this chord may be one of the easiest one on the ukulele. In this 4K video tutorial, I am going to show you how to play an essential shape for all ukulele players, the A7 chord.

The reason why this chord is easy for even a beginner to play is because it only requires one finger. You place your first finger on the 3^rd string, 1^st fret while playing strings 4, 2, and 1 open.

The A7 chord produces a great jazzy/bluesy sound and is great over a Blues in A or jazz standard.

The notes that make up the A7 chord are A – C# - E – G. Notice because this chord is a seventh chord it has 4 notes in it, verses a triad which only has 3 notes in it.

We can also slide this chord shape up and down the neck but it does turn into a bar chord which is hard for some beginners to play. When you play this shape on different parts of the neck you need to remember where the root is. In the A7 chord the root is on...
