Ukulele Chord Mania “A Major” Chord EASY UKE TUTORIAL

FREE Ultimate Ukulele Chord Chart https://www.ukelikethepros.com/p/chords

I will explain the “A Major” open position chord in the LIVE tutorial. Last week, I think I got a little carried away with the “F Minor” chord and overlooked the importance of “A Major” chord. Many popular numbers such as "Sittin' On The Dock of the Bay" by Otis Redding, "Blvd. of Broken Dreams" by Green Day, and "Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out" by Jimmy Cox (although made famous by Bessie Smith and Eric Clapton) use the "A Major" chord. I will not only explain the notes that make up this chord but also the music theory behind this chord. I will also teach you how to transpose this chord so that you will be able to play this exact shape throughout the fretboard.

Minor Pentatonic Scale Ukulele

Hi, I am back with the next tutorial of 4K Ukulele tutorials! In this lesson, I will demonstrate how to play the C minor pentatonic scale on the ukulele. This pentatonic ukulele scale can be played on any soprano, concert, or tenor. You also have the flexibility to play it with a high or a low G string. It is important to memorize the scale soon so that you can then work on improvising the licks as I have demonstrated in the video. It is called the pentatonic scale because it has only 5 notes which are C - Eb - F - G - Bb.

Ukulele Music Reading Course For Beginners

Hi! Welcome back to Chord Mania! In this tutorial, I will explain the importance of music reading for your Ukulele career. I am excited to introduce Music Reading Beginners course on the Ukulele.
To master the art of playing the Ukulele, Music Reading is very important.
Let me explain what Music Reading is, it is taking notes on the Ukulele staff and seeing what they are on the Ukulele.
Music Reading will help you identify and play different rhythms. The best way to play songs is by putting notes and rhythms together.
The fact remains that most Ukulele players struggle with Music Reading, but if you master it, you will find Ukulele playing easy.
The reason why Music Reading is important is that when you read music, you are not just looking at the note on the page, but you are learning how to count, developing your sense of rhythm and coordination between your eyes, brain, and hand. You will be able to learn all the notes on the Ukulele neck.
I am 100% convinced that if you learn...

Blues Turnaround Ukulele Lesson (Advanced Uke Tutorial)

Hi there! Welcome to this tutorial where I teach you how to play an Advanced Blues Turnaround in A. This is usually played by pro ukulele players. The last two bars of a twelve bar blues is a turnaround. We are in the key of A and as we know there are only 3 chords, the A chord(I), the D7 chord(IV) and the E7 chord(V). The A and E7 chords are the ones used in turnaround. These are bars 11 and 12. First I will explain how to play the turnaround and after that I will play the 12 bar Blues. This will explain how the turnaround becomes a part of the entire Blues structure. Want to know about more turnarounds? You can check out Blues greats likes B.B King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, and Robert Johnson.
